The Student Analytics & Supply Chain Association (SASCA) is a student-led organization that aims to provide its members with opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge in the fields of manufacturing, transportation, supply chain management, and analytics. Our mission is to enhance student development through a range of value-added activities that help members gain practical experience and improve their analytical decision-making abilities.
At SASCA, we understand the importance of keeping up with the latest developments in manufacturing and transportation operations, as well as the growing role of analytics in these fields. Therefore, we offer a wide range of activities covering traditional supply chain management and emerging analytics technologies.
Our activities include workshops, guest lectures, site visits to manufacturing and transportation facilities, case competitions, and networking events. These activities are designed to give our members hands-on experience in the industry and help them build their professional networks. Through our events, members will have the opportunity to interact with colleagues and professionals in their chosen fields of study, allowing them to gain insights into industry trends and best practices.
SASCA is affiliated with the national professional organization, the Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS), which provides additional resources and support for our members. Our club is open to all students interested in developing their skills in analytics and supply chain management, regardless of their academic background or level of experience.
By joining SASCA, students can gain practical experience, enhance their analytical skills, and expand their professional networks. Our organization is committed to helping our members achieve their full potential and prepare them for successful careers in manufacturing, transportation, supply chain management, and analytics.
