The brass faculty of the UNCW Department of Music invites you to join us on Saturday, November 16, for Brass Day! High school, home-school, and community brass players will work with our faculty in large and small ensembles, and in master classes, culminating in a finale concert. Registration is free.
The brass faculty of the UNCW Department of Music is proud to introduce the inaugural Honors Brass Quintet. High School students will have the opportunity to rehearse in a chamber setting and be coached by UNCW faculty members, culminating in a performance during the UNCW Brass Day Final Concert. This group is assigned by audition. Audition tapes must be submitted on the Brass Day registration form, and the audition excerpts can be found here. The deadline to submit audition tapes for consideration is November 2nd at 11:59 P.M. Audition and participation in the Honors Brass Quintet is not required for general participation in other Brass Day events.
