I am pleased to welcome you to the School of Social Work at UNC Wilmington, where for more than 40 years, we have trained practitioners dedicated to social work practice with populations in southeastern North Carolina and beyond.

While the mission of our School has changed little over the years, our School has. Notably, we have expanded our education programs to reach more students, particularly in rural communities where they are needed most.
