- Race, Equity and Social Justice Advisory Council with representation from across the College
- SEEDS (Students Engaged in Enriching Diversity in Sciences) scholarship established funding provided by Novant Health-UNC Health, to increase pipeline initiatives for rural and disadvantaged students interested in allied health careers.
- iHeal Camp, a free overnight camp for rising ninth graders to explore a variety of healthcare careers and majors at UNC Wilmington and at other academic institutions in the state, including UNC Chapel Hill.
