Our goal is to nurture, encourage, support, train and educate the artist in the study and practice of theatre.

Provide Feedback

Book a One-on-One

The Web Support Team is here to help you! We offer bookable sessions in 30 minute increments. You can choose from Technical support to content and questions. The one-on-ones take place virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Ticket Information

Tickets for shows in the UNCW Theatre Mainstage and SRO Theatre Student Lab can be purchased in advance either online or in person at Kenan Auditorium Box Office or in person the night of the performance at the Cultural Arts Building Box Office.

We Offer 3 Degree Options


Pre-professional training in stage and film performance which prepares them for professional employment in theatre, film or television, future advanced or graduate study, or skills leading to work in allied performance fields of interest.

Production Design & Technology

Students in the Production Design and Technology option will develop the knowledge of all aspects of design including scenic, costume, lighting and sound as well as gain the skill sets to create and realize their work. They will collaborate on productions with the assistance of the faculty.

This option (previously known as the customized option) allows students to develop individualized plans of study tailored to their specific academic and professional interests as well as career goals.
