Learning Communities (LCs) are small communities where students attend courses as a cohort and engage in group activities and events. LCs encourage the exploration of learning through community engagement, self-reflection, and critical thinking.
Students who participate in LCs build relationships across campus, enhance their leadership and learning skills, leverage strengths, engage in service learning, and explore research opportunities.
The Benefits of joining a Learning Community:
- Increase your connection to campus
- Offer greater academic support
- Opportunity for lifelong friendships
- Enhance your leadership skills and personal growth
