Jennie is responsible for the daily administration of the Office of Dean of Students and its programs and services, including assisting students in accessing various resources to succeed as citizen learners in the UNCW Community.
Candice Johnston, Ed.D., Associate Dean of Students

Candice provides oversight and supervision to off-campus, non-traditional students, graduate student life, Academic Honor Code, alternative dispute resolution, crisis intervention and emergency response.
Chip Phillips, Ph.D., Assistant Dean of Students

Chip is responsible for the administration of the Academic Honor Code, including educational outreach to the university community. He is also designing an alternative dispute resolution program to resolve conflict outside of the university conduct process. Chip coordinates the Community Standards Initiative, serves as a conduct hearing officer and assists with the coordination of crisis intervention and emergency response.
Ryan Stephens, Assistant Dean of Students

Ryan is responsible for the administration of daily oversight of the university's conduct system. He assists with implementing all university conduct policies and procedures as outlined in the Code of Student Life. Ryan also coordinates all Campus Conduct Board hearings and is responsible for the recruitment, selection, and training of all Campus Conduct Board members. He serves as an administrative hearing officer and is responsible for conducting annual assessments of the university conduct system.
Lindsey Trione, Assistant Dean of Students

Lindsey provides daily oversight to Off Campus Student Services which develops programs and services for off campus students. She will coordinate First Amendment/Freedom of Expression education. Lindsey will also serve as a conduct hearing officer and assist with the coordination of crisis intervention and emergency response.
Monica Chase, Assistant Dean of Students

Monica coordinates interdisciplinary communication among university constituents to help create an environment for students which provides them access to resources that may optimize their success. She also coordinate the Student Behavioral Intervention Team, working with a team of staff who discuss and design remedies for at-risk students. To report concerning student behaviors, the case manager can be reached at 910.962.3119 or via email. Additionally, reports can be communicated using the Concern for Student Form.
Alexis Dawson-Atkins, Assistant Case Manager

Gina Harrell, Assistant for Conduct and Community Standards

Gina's primary responsibilities include scheduling conduct conferences, maintaining conduct files and providing administrative support to all aspects of the university conduct system, including the daily administration of the conduct database.
Vacant, Office Manager

This person's responsibilities include budget maintenance, processing and tracking of all expenditures, including travel, payroll, supply requests, event fees, requisitions and program assistance. They supervise the work study students in the office. They manage student payroll and timesheets, and handles all office inventory and work requests. They are also the official time keeper and purchasing card coordinator for the office.
