Our Centers assist students in finding a sense of belonging on campus and provide resources and support to achieve academic success and career goals.  We value the uniqueness and diversity of our students, staff and faculty, and ensure student success opportunities are provided for all students.

Upperman African American Cultural Center The Upperman African American Cultural Center is a space for Black students to seek mentorship, unity, and advocacy at UNCW. Upperman focuses on the recruitment, retention, and academic achievements of Black UNCW students to excel in a diverse world. Visit
