Several important administrative units serve the entire UNCW campus community and fall under the direction of the Chancellor’s Office. The leader of each unit is a member of the Chancellor’s Cabinet and is involved in decision making at the highest level of university administration.

Governmental Relations and Board Affairs UNCW is proud to be part of the UNC System. The assistant to the chancellor/assistant secretary of the Board of Trustees works closely with the governor, state and local elected officials, regional leaders and the UNC Board of Governors to remain informed on issues, legislation and policies affecting higher education.
