This document provides university guidelines for Campus Vending.
Scope
This policy applies to all university departments, staff, faculty, and student organizations.
Policy
General Statement:
All vending services on campus are managed through Campus Support Services. Examples of items available through vending include snacks, soft drinks, and juice. These services are governed by contracts negotiated by the Campus Support Services office on behalf of the university. Per the terms of these contracts, no university departments, agencies, or outside firms are permitted to operate independent vending on campus.
Vending Locations:
Campus Support Services is responsible for determining the placement of vending machines and the selection of products offered. Current vending locations have been chosen based on convenience and projected sales volume. These locations may be adjusted or expanded as needed to better serve the campus community.
Repair Service:
Machines requiring service should be reported immediately to Campus Vending. Prompt reporting ensures timely repairs and continued service to the campus community.
Refund Policy:
Individuals who lose money in a campus vending machine should contact the Campus Vending office to request a refund. Refunds must be obtained in person; no refunds will be issued through campus mail.
