The Upperman African American Center is a living room space where students study, convene meetings, participate in lectures and prepare for their future.

We provide dynamic programming and mentorship opportunities and encourage students to develop an appreciation for their own heritage, legacies and histories. The Upperman African American Cultural Center is open to all students, regardless of race, ethnicity, or identity, who are interested in engaging in community and learning. At “The UPP,” you will find support, resources and a space where you feel valued and connected.
