Eric Simon has been named the new Assistant Vice Chancellor for the Division of Student Affairs, the university has announced today. His appointment comes after a nationwide search. He will begin his new role on January 17, 2017. Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, he will oversee all financial, human resource and facilities management within the Division of Student Affairs. Eric has an MBA from Kennesaw State University as well as an MA in College Student Personnel from Eastern Michigan University. He is also ABD with his PhD in Higher Education from Illinois State University. Eric joins us from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he served as the Executive Director of Business Development and Student Centers. He is married with two children and has an English bulldog named Otis.
