Emotional Intelligence

Developing Great Leadership Skills

Understanding and Improving Your Emotional Intelligence

The most successful leaders are those who bring out the best in themselves and the best in others. Emotional intelligence is the ability to do this, but is a set of competencies that must be learned. This course will include a combination of discussion and interactive activities to develop a solid understanding of what emotional intelligence is and how to develop it. Participants will also complete a 360-degree assessment developed by emotional intelligence pioneers Daniel Goleman and Richard Boyatzis called the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory. In combination with the course learning, the results of this assessment will help participants determine individual action steps to improving their own emotional intelligence.
