Pre-Professional Drop In Advising
Monday, January 11 – Thursday, May 5
Drop in for a 1-on-1 advising meeting with a Pre-Professional Advisor on Mondays & Thursdays 10:00am-12:00pm while classes are in session. No appointment needed. Visit us on the 1st floor of DePaolo Hall in University College.

Lower Cape Fear Hospice Volunteer Training

Volunteers have always been the heart of any hospice organization, and Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter is no exception. Students interested in becoming a volunteer for the center are invited to attend this mandatory training to learn more about the services and care provided at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. Pre-Health Service & School Visit
Thursday, February 25 – Saturday, February 28 – Charleston, South Carolina

Join the UNI 120 Civic Engagement for Pre-Health Students class on a visit to the health graduate programs at the Medical University of South Carolina. Tour the facilities, meet current graduate students, and get questions answered by admissions representatives. Also, spend the day giving back to the local community to further explore what it means to help people. Transportation and lodging will be provided. UNI 120 students are given priority registration. Vitals Learning Community hosts a Health Practitioner Panel
Wednesday, March 16 – 6:30-8:00pm – Seahawk Crossing
Join Vitals students and Pre-Professional Student Ambassadors as they hear from current healthcare practitioners as they share their personal experiences throughout their journey to become a healthcare professional. Panelists are members of the Wilmington community and serve in varying provider roles including Pediatrics, Family & General Practice, Physical Therapy and Nurse Practitioners. Come prepared to ask questions and meet professionals in your future field. RSVP to is required.
