Pre-Professional Drop In Advising
Thursday, August 20 – Thursday, December 2 - DePaolo 1092
Drop in for a 1-on-1 advising meeting with a Pre-Professional Advisor on Mondays & Thursdays 10:00am-12:00pm while classes are in session. No appointment needed. Visit us on the 1st floor of DePaolo Hall in University College.

Pre-Health School Visit
Friday, October 2 – 8:00am-5:00pm – University of North Carolina Chapel Hill
Join the PULSE Learning Community on a visit to the health graduate programs including the School of Dentistry, School of Medicine, Eshelman Pharmacy School and others at UNC Chapel Hill. Tour the facilities, meet current graduate students, and get questions answered by admissions representatives. It is never too early to visualize your goals. Transportation and lunch will be provided. PULSE students are given priority registration. Please contact for more information.

Seahawk Leadership Conference

A campus-based leadership conference where students can connect with other students, faculty, staff and local community members. It is designed to provide leadership development opportunities for UNCW students of all levels, abilities and interests. Content focuses on personal leadership, organizational leadership, social justice, and navigating a career path. Pre-professional students are encouraged to attend to continue to build on skills that will enhance your candidacy for graduate school and become successful professionals.

Health Practitioner Panel
Wednesday, October 28 – 3:00-5:00pm – McNeill Multipurpose Room
Join PULSE students as they hear from current healthcare practitioners as they share their personal experiences throughout their journey to become a healthcare professional. Panelists are members of the Wilmington community and serve in varying provider roles including Pediatrics, Family & General Practice, Physical Therapy and Nurse Practitioners. Come prepared to ask questions and meet professionals in your future field.

Law School Day

Law schools from throughout the country will visit UNCW provide info on applying and getting accepted. A panel will be held from 12:00-1:00pm and the fair will take place from 1:00-3:00pm. Co-sponsored by the Pre-Law Society and Career Center.
