University College Pre-Health Advisor (Freshman Year)
From Freshman Orientation until you declare a major second semester Freshman year, you will be assigned to a Pre-Health Professions Advisor located in University College. Your advisor will help you navigate Basic Studies courses, assist you in exploring which health profession is the best fit for you, guide you in the choice of courses to satisfy professional schools of health pre-requisite requirements and help you get started with compiling your Pre-Health Professions Admissions e-Portfolio.

College of Arts and Sciences Pre-Health Advisor
(Sophomore, Junior & Senior Years)
After you have declared a major, you will have access to a Pre-Health Professions Advisor located in the College of Arts and Sciences. It is your responsibility to make contact and develop a working relationship with your new Pre-Health Professions Advisor as soon as you have declared a major and to schedule a meeting at least once each semester. This advisor will play a critical role in all aspects of your professional schools of health applications including preparing for and scheduling admissions tests, coordinating letters of recommendation, crafting of your personal statement and getting ready for your interviews.
