Student Meal Plans
UNCW offers a great variety of meal plans to choose from -- all tailored to fit students’ busy schedules. Whether you are eating on campus several times a week, or just grabbing the occasional bite, a meal plan can save you time and money. With a meal plan:
- You save 7% sales tax on every transaction with tax-free Food Dollars, and
- There’s no need to carry cash or a credit card; it’s all on your UNCW One Card.
Signing Up for Your Student Meal Plans
Students must register for classes prior to signing up for a meal plan. The day after you register for classes, you may sign up for your meal plan. When you sign up for your meal plan, your meal plan is billed with your tuition and fees, so you don't need to pay when you sign up.
- To sign up for your meal plan, click on the link below.
- You will be at MySeaport. Log in with your UNCW email address and password.
- Click on the Student Services tab.
- On the left menu under Services, click on Student Meal Plan Application.
- In the Student Meal Plan Application, click Choose Plan and proceed through the selection process.
- After a plan is purchased, it will be available on the student's One Card.
- Students can then check their meal plan balance throughout the semester by logging in to the Student Meal Plan Application.
Resident students of traditional housing (Galloway, Belk, Graham, Hewlett, Schwartz, Cornerstone, International House, Honors, on-campus apartments or suites):
- All traditional housing students are required to have a meal plan.
- If you do not purchase your Fall 2013 meal plan by July 15, 2013, and you reside in the traditional housing above, you will be assigned the 14 Plus $225 plan.
- If you want to change from your defaulted plan for Fall 2013, changes conclude 5 business days from move-in weekend.
Students residing in non-traditional housing (Seahawk Village, Seahawk Landing, Seahawk Crossing) and students who live off campus:
- Residents of Seahawk Landing, Seahawk Village or Seahawk Crossing and students who live off campus are not required to purchase a meal plan but may select any available meal plan.
- Meal plans offer convenience; and you pay no sales tax and save on meals too.
Student Meal Plans for Summer I and II
If you are registered for class for Summer Session I or II, we have meal plans that can fit your needs. The summer meal plan options are
- $275 Food Dollars
- $350 Food Dollars.
Just as Food Dollars roll over from fall to spring, they also roll over from Summer I to Summer II. Also, if you purchase a Fall semester meal plan, your unused Food Dollars roll from your Summer I or Summer II meal plan to the following Fall semester. Therefore, please give careful consideration to the amount of food dollars you plan on using.
Student Meal Plan Options for Fall/Spring Semesters
