Geological Ocean
From soft bottoms to rocky shores, there is more then just fish in the sea. The ocean floor encompasses ridges, rises, and gullies that span great lengths and reach incredible depths and heights. School groups have the opportunity to study and experience the ever shifting shorelines, marsh sediments and rocky outcrops and learn about the processes that help make up these environments.
Geological Oceanography lessons can be tailored to different age groups. MarineQuest can also work with schools to design a customized program for a particular area of study.
