In today’s world, an international experience is an integral part of any college education. UNC Wilmington offers a world of education abroad opportunities. Students can choose from more than 500 credit-bearing programs in over 50 countries!

Education Abroad Application REQUIRED for ALL CREDIT BEARING programs
Studying abroad encompasses a wide variety of experiences, including the traditional classroom experience as well as applied-learning settings, such as internships, pratica, service-learning, and research. If you will be earning academic credit abroad, then you are studying abroad and the application process outlined in this section is appropriate for you. Advising for and selection of an applied-learning study abroad experience frequently happens at the departmental level. It is, however, mandatory that students fill out an education abroad application and attend a pre-departure orientation sponsored by the Office of International Programs.
