Moviemakers and Scholars

Lynne Sachs is an experimental documentary filmmaker residing in New York City . A graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute (MFA), Ms. Sachs has also worked as as a film curator, sound recordist, and judge of documentary works. Ms. Sachs has completed nine documentaries, which have won numerous prizes and awards. Her films have screened at the Museum of Modern art in New York, the Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley, and the Sundance Film Festival, as as well as at other museum and exhibition sites nationally and internationally . Her films have been reviewed in such periodicals as the New York Times, Village Voice, and the Nation.
