Writer, Producer, and Dean of the School of Filmmaking at the North Carolina School of the Arts

As president of A&M films during the 1990s, Dale Pollock produced such major films as Blaze, House of Cards, A Midnight Clear, A Home of Our Own, and Crooked Hearts. He has also served as chief entertainment correspondent for the Los Angeles Times, chief film critic at Daily Variety, and has written Skywalking, a biography of filmmaker George Lucas. He lectures frequently at the American Film Institute and the University of Southern California film school. He has been dean of the School of Filmmaking at the North Carolina School of the Arts since 1998.
