Craig Mann

Craig Mann is a graduate of Fayetteville State University where he received his B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in education.  After graduation, he returned to Lakewood High School where he did his student teaching to teach for the next four years in his new career.  There, he taught Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Technical Math 1.  After leaving Lakewood, Craig began working at Clinton High School where he would teach and coach for the next nine years.  There, he had the opportunity to teach Technical Math 1, Technical Math 2, Geometry, and Honors Geometry.  While in his tenure at CHS, Craig attended the Texas Instruments Cadre headed up by the University of North Carolina Wilmington where he was involved in developing and implementing lesson plans using this technology.  Upon his departure of Clinton High School, Craig moved to Wilmington, NC and is currently employed at Topsail High School where he has been for the past eight years.  There, he has taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Honors Geometry, Algebra 2, Math 1, Math 2, Honors Math 2, Math 3, and Honors Math 3.

In his twenty-one-year career in teaching, Craig has also coached baseball, softball, volleyball, and tennis.  He has served on various leadership committees and acts as a cooperating teacher for student interns entering the field of teaching math.  In his spare time, Craig enjoys playing USTA tennis and is also a mobile disc jockey.
