UNCW IT Innovation Award

IT Innovations for this year will begin with an expected RFP announcement in late January, 2006. The Committee on IT Innovations will work towards a mid-March deadline for proposals with subsequent awards announced by early April 2006. Due to funding limitations this year the actual awards will be available after July 1st, 2006.

The University of North Carolina Teaching and Learning with Technology Collaborative (TLTC) is a consortia organization that provides vision and shared resources in support of teaching and learning with technology programs and initiatives on the sixteen UNC campuses. The TLTC seeks to empower  teachers, learners, providers of instructional support, and decision makers by identifying and developing resources to facilitate the implementation of technology in teaching and learning

Large Enrollment Course Redesign

The Pilot Project represents the beginnings of a grassroots effort by faculty, administrators, and instructional support staff within The University of North Carolina to find ways to address the need of offering large enrollment courses to meet an increasing demand for student “seats”, especially in introductory courses.
