Trying to decide what classes you want to take next? Come out to Make the Most of Your Major (MMOM) on Monday, February 25th at 6:30 p.m. in Leutze Hall room 143 and hear professors speak about the courses they will be teaching for the fall semester. You don’t want to miss this opportunity! Are you declared PCOM? Don't get stuck waiting in those long advising lines, attend MMOM and earn a FastPass that allows you to skip to the front of the line during your designated advising week (please note that you must stay for the entire session to earn the pass).

International business consultant and scholar, Jacob Storch will be on campus. He will visit some classes but also offer a presentation relevant to those interested in consulting, mediation, personal coaching and intercultural communication. The presentation will be held in the Masonboro Island Room (Fisher Student Center Room 2011).
Rally At The Alley will be November 10th from 11:00AM-2:00PM, with a $10 registration fee for open bowling and shoe rental. Proceeds will go to the Brian King Memorial Scholarship. There will be a gift basket prize for the top team, as well as a raffle for another gift basket. Make sure you save the date and recruit three of your friends to make a team! Print out the flyer (below), grab your friends and come to Moe's (Eastwood and Military Cutoff location) on Thursday, November 8! A portion of your sale will be donated to the American Red Cross, on behalf of the Communication Studies Society, to assist Super Storm Sandy victims.
6th annual Rock for the Cure breast cancer benefit held on Friday, October 19. The event will be located on the rooftop of the Reel Café in downtown Wilmington from 7:00-10:00 p.m. unless it rains, in which case it will be on the second floor of the Reel Café. All proceeds benefit the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Project, and admission is $5 at the door. There will be live classic rock music by The Schoolboys, a raffle, a silent auction, and a contest!
