Postal notices are distributed to students for the following:
- Packages delivered by USPS, FedEx, DHL
- Items that require a signature
- Incoming Faxes
- Items labeled "Do Not Bend"
- When student's campus box is full
- Student will be required to go to the window to pick up mail.
- For perishable items or medical supplies, an e-mail will also be sent to students when they receive mail labeled "Perishable", "Refrigerate", etc. These items are stored in a refrigerator until the student picks up the mail at the postal window in the Fisher University Union.
The first delivery notification is made by placing a delivery notice in the student's campus mail box. Notices will continue weekly if not picked up. Second notices are made via e-mail to the student's official e-mail address: third notices are written and distributed to the student's campus box; and fourth notices are sent via e-mail to the student's offcial e-mail address. After the fourth notice, the student's mail will be returned to the sender, "unclaimed."
When picking up mail, please provide
the postal notice and a picture ID (required) to the Seahawk Mail
window in the Fisher University Union.
