Visiting Writer Taylor Brown to Read at the University of North Carolina Wilmington
WILMINGTON, N.C.— Taylor Brown, visiting writer in the Department of Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, will read at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 7., in Kenan Hall 1111.
Taylor Brown’s work has appeared in numerous publications including the New York Times, the Rumpus, Garden & Gun, Chautauqua, the North Carolina Literary Review, and more. He is the author of a short story collection, In the Season of Blood and Gold (2014), as well as the novels Fallen Land (2016), The River of Kings (2017), and Gods of Howl Mountain (2018). He is a recipient of the Montana Prize in Fiction, a finalist for the Southern Book Prize, and the founder of BikeBound.com. His fourth novel, The Pride of Eden, will be published in 2020.
