I am a New Orleans native innately born with an affinity for seafood and jazz music. Having lived in North Carolina for seven years now, I developed a passion for performing spoken word at age 19 (have been writing since age 16). Besides being active in my spoken word organization, SISTAHS, I am an avid dancer -always joining Zumba or Cardio Dance classes at the Rec Center at every opportunity that I can seize. Upon graduation, I plan to enroll in law school with the aspirations of becoming a Civil Rights Attorney. However, my ultimate passion in life is to instill positive self- esteem in young women around the world. My motto in life: Chase Your Destiny.
