About Us
Working in conjunction with Parking Services, Transportation develops and administers programs that encourage sustainable stewardship of resources. Transportation Services manages and facilitates the university's use of alternative transportation methods. We provide shuttle services to and from, and around campus, and provide and maintain bicycle, skateboard, and pedestrian amenities.
Sustainable Transportation is better for your body, for the environment, and for your wallet. We encourage students to think sustainable when getting to and around UNCW. Students who do not drive a personal vehicle may bike, board, walk, or take the shuttles. All Wave Shuttles are free with an active UNCW One Card.

Why use an alternative form of transportation?
Using a form of transportation other than driving a individual vehicle reduces carbon dioxide emissions, reduces traffic congestion, betters your personal health, and saves you money. Especially on days when the weather is in your favor, ride a bike or take a walk.
