July 2017 Round-Up

JULY 2017 -  In an effort to remove all abandoned bikes on campus, we will conduct a summer bicycle round up in July. All non-abandoned bikes should have an orange ribbon to signify that it is still in use. This summer all bicycles on campus will be tagged. If a tag is still on a bicycle in July it will be assumed abandoned and impounded. Please email bikes@uncw.edu with any questions.

If your believe your bicycle is impounded please email bikes@uncw.edu and give a description of your bicycle and the location on campus where it was impounded. There is a $25 fee to retrieve your bicycle if it is not properly registered. By NC Statue all impounded bicycles are held on campus for 90 days before being donated to a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All bicycles that were impounded in July will be donated at the end of October 2017.
