Transition Programs

TB Mentor Program

The Teal Bridge Mentor Program matches new transfer students with a Teal Bridge Mentor, a student leader in the Office of Transition Programs who is a transfer student. Every month, Teal Bridge Mentors meet with their mentees one-on-one, meet with their small group (10-12 new transfer students), and plan one large group event/program for the entire cohort of mentees.

In the one-on-one meetings with your mentor, you will set goals for the semester, learn about campus resources, and get to ask questions about their experience as a transfer. The small group structure allows new transfer students to connect and build relationships with other new transfer students. The events and programs that Teal Bridge hosts includes social events and workshops to specifically meet the needs of transfer students.

If you submit the form by the priority deadline of Wednesday, July 1, you will be assigned a mentor in July to be able to get to know them and ask questions before classes start! Any submissions after the July 1 deadline will be assigned a mentor once a week until the final deadline of Monday, August 31.
