ITS Maintenance: Weekend of
September 16-19

As part of our preapproved scheduled maintenance weekends, from September 16 (5 p.m.) – September 19 (8 a.m.), ITS will be performing maintenance work on various campus systems. These windows allow ITS the opportunity to patch and upgrade UNCW systems, which are required to keep our systems and data secure and highly available.

Maintenance windows are approved 3 years in advance by the Chancellor’s calendar committee. The dates selected are intended to minimize impact to the campus and allow for proper planning by campus.

How this affects you:

• During this time frame, all systems and services are subject to intermittent interruptions due to patching and reboots.
• Oracle will undergo maintenance.
  
  • Examples of systems impacted: Banner/SeaNet, DegreeWorks, RMS, Telesoft, EZLobby, etc.
• Canvas and UNCW email will not be impacted during this time.
