If you have an interest in helping people of all ages and abilities lead healthier, happier lives, whether it is healthy living through disease prevention/health promotion, motor skill acquisition/production or helping persons through the aging process, the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences is for you!

SHAHS is one of three schools in the College of Health and Human Services and the tie that binds us is a commitment to improving the health and quality of life for individuals, families and communities.

We offer undergraduate programs in exercise science, healthful living and fitness education, public health, recreation therapy, respiratory therapy and tourism, recreation and sport. Our graduate programs focus on athletic training, gerontology, healthcare administration, physical education and health specialization.
