Safe Zone Workshop Series
The mission of Safe Zone is to educate and support allies in their goal to create a welcoming community for all people. These workshops are 100% voluntary and will help prepare people to create inclusive environments, challenge homophobia and transphobia, and work to support the LGBTQIA+ community.
Safe Zone Workshops
Our workshop series consists of four workshops: LGBTQIA 101, Understanding Gender, Active Ally, and Using Our History to Heal. These workshops are offered every semester, multiple times a semester. While our workshops build on one another and we encourage folks to take all four workshops, there is no requirement to take them all or to take them in order. We do, however, strongly encourage everyone begins with LGBTQIA 101.
Please RSVP using the following links if you would like to attend a workshop. Once you RSVP, you will receive a reminder email regarding the workshop and its location closer to the date.
