UNCW Summer Programs will begin the foundation for student success in the four mission-centered goals of the university and to the eight UNCW learning goals that support them.
To participate, students must attend UNCW First-Year Orientation, meet with an academic advisor, register for summer courses and live on-campus in summer student housing.
Summer 2024 dates will be announced, but typically Orientation sessions are held throughout the month of June; Summer Session II classes will begin before the end of June, and end at the end of July/beginning of August. All these dates will be coordinated with Transition Programs, Housing and Residential Life, Registrar, Student Accounts, and the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
Students enrolling in UNCW First-Year Summer Programs are eligible to apply for federal financial aid to cover the cost of the program. If you are interested in financial aid for Summer Programs, you must also complete the FAFSA for 2023-2024.
The link to apply for financial aid will be added when available.
