Justin Streuli Named Director of the OIC

December 7, 2020—The Office of Research and Innovation welcomes Mr. Justin Streuli, MBA as Director of the Office of Innovation and Commercialization (OIC). 

He joins UNCW after serving in the UNC System as Director of LaunchUNCG and North Carolina Entrepreneurship Center at UNC Greensboro, cultivating an environment for university innovators to thrive. Justin has also been Director of Business Development for Anomaly Squared after the fast-growing marketing agency absorbed the web development firm he co-founded, OpenLedge. He waJustin Streulis formerly Co-Founder and CEO of Dynamic Mail Management, a software as a solution firm commercializing an award-winning technology developed at UNCG. In 2016, Justin was recognized as one of the Triad Business Journal’s 40 Leaders Under Forty as well as the SBA’s North Carolina Minority Business Advocate of the Year. He holds an MBA from UNCG and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from NC State.

At UNCW, Justin will lead the OIC to facilitate, enhance, and grow technology transfer activities, and to steward the university’s intellectual property. "The opportunity to lead these efforts at UNCW is immensely exciting. I look forward to helping these world-class innovators leverage their expertise to impact society in a positive way," Justin said.

The OIC serves as an integrated resource for the faculty and staff in UNCW’s research community and works closely with the offices of Sponsored Programs and Research Compliance/SPARC, Research Integrity Office/RIO, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship/CIE, and Marine Biotechnology in North Carolina (MARBIONC).
