How QENO is Supporting You


  • We have launched Virtual Coffee Convos - 2 days a week where nonprofit leaders can schedule a 30 minute Zoom meeting with me to discuss anything they need to discuss (vent, problem-solve, brainstorm, sounding board, advice, gain info, etc)
  • We have switched our curbside consulting to virtual consulting through Zoom

  • Updating QENO website and Office of Community Engagement website

  • Weekly check ins with Pender County Christian Services, Brunswick Family Assistance, United Way Onslow County, Cape Fear Food Council, NC Nonprofit Capacity Bldrs Network, City of Jacksonville, NC Dept. of Commerce

  • Multiple checkins throughout the week with UNCW Center for Healthy Communities, UNCW Center for Workforce Dvlp, YOU, local and state funders, NC Center for Nonprofits, UNCW Administration

  • Participating in or reviewing notes from calls/Zooms for Cape Fear Food Council, NHC Disaster Coalition, NC VOAD, and I think there’s more, but my brain just stopped.

  • Co-creating tools for teleworking with NC Center for Nonprofits

  • Working to get NC Center for Nonprofits Center Connect available for non-members.
  • Partnering with Harrelson Center to do one hour Zoom meetings for their directors to discuss whatever they need

  • Zoom check in with Executive Director Academy participants to determine needs right now and allow for peer support and problem solving

  • Providing weekly update reports to UNCW Administration, NC Center for Nonprofits, NC funders collaborative, local funders

  • Partnering with NC Center for Nonprofits and UNCW Center for Healthy Communities and UNCW Center for Workforce Development to create mini-webinars on various teleworking and safety issues

  • Disseminating legislative and funding updates from NC Center for Nonprofits, Small Business Association, National Council of Nonprofits, BoardSource, and more
