Barry A. Wray is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics.

M.S. in Management Science, Virginia Tech University.
Ph.D. in Management Science, Virginia Tech University.
Specialization in Teaching
Business Analytics and Statistics.
Research Interests
Dr. Wray’s primary areas of research are in applied classification and regression trees, artificial neural networks, and predictive analytics.
Professional Service
Dr. Wray has been an active participant at both national and regional meetings of the Institute of Decision Sciences. He has served the Southeastern Region as President, Conference Chair, Associate Conference Chair, Council Member, VP Publications, VP Student Liaison, Track Chair, and Placement Coordinator. He is a frequent contributor to the Southeastern Region of INFORMS, serving as President, Vice President, Program Chair, Track Chair, Placement Coordinator and Student Paper Judge. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Cape Fear chapter of APICS.
Honors & Awards
Dr. Wray has also won the Stephen J. Shaw's Allied Southern Business Association Distinguished Paper Award. Dr. Wray has also won the Best Paper in The Innovative Educational, Teaching, and Pedagogy Track at the SEINFORMS conference.
