Caroline Wheeler

Caroline joined the CHHS Research and Innovation team as a Grant Administrator in April 2025. By offering grant support to the college’s faculty and staff, she assists with proposal submissions, budgetary, and compliance guidance for the life cycle of the award.
She received her undergraduate degree from UNCW in Environmental Studies. In 2023, she returned to her alma mater as a Human Resource Specialist and worked toward earning her Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Business Analytics in 2024.
Prior to joining the university, she worked for the public school system in the areas of accounting and finance, and she is certified as a North Carolina School Business Manager.
