Dr. Van Camp is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is a board certified behavior analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in North Carolina.

Specialization in Teaching

Dr. Van Camp teaches courses in behavior analysis at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as undergraduate courses in research methods and science and pseudoscience. She mentors undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. students through her research, teaching, and service.

Research Interests

Dr. Van Camp conducts research in applied behavior analysis, focusing on physical activity, registered behavior tech and behavior analyst training, assessment and treatment of severe behavior disorders, and translational studies aimed at informing these and other applied issues.
