Research Interests
My research concentrates on understanding and managing multimorbidity disorders and geriatric syndrome in older adults to delay functional and cognitive decline and promote healthy, independent aging in the community. In my scholarly research, I use the framework of social determinants of health to understand contributors to health disparities and advance health equity. I use secondary data, informatics, and analytics to inform health outcomes. My long-term research goal includes developing informatics technology to manage multiple multimorbidity and symptoms, improve clinical outcomes, and advance health equity.
