Olutosin Sanyaolu
Assistant Professor
Dr. Olutosin Sanyaolu is an Assistant Professor in the Public Health Program at UNCW. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Education with a cognate in Community Health and has more than a decade of experience designing and implementing community-based health programs in Nigeria and the United States. Her work in community settings has focused on disease prevention, health education, and promoting healthier behaviors through programs tailored to the needs of different populations.

B.Sc. in Physiology, University of Ilorin, MPH in Child and Adolescent Health, University of Ibadan, and Ph.D. in Health Education with a cognate in Community Health, University of Cincinnati.

Public health principles and foundations; health communication and health education; social determinants of health; health and disease prevention and promotion.

Mental health and psychosocial factors affecting college students; Health behaviors and determinants of health; Substance use and health risk behaviors; Community-based health promotion and disease prevention; Behavioral interventions to promote mental health, healthy eating, and physical activity.
