Monica T. Rother
Associate Professor
Dr. Monica T. Rother is an Associate Professor in the Environmental Sciences Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Monica conducts research within the broad disciplines of forest ecology, biogeography, and dendrochronology (tree-ring science). She earned her PhD from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2015 and previously worked as a fire ecologist at Tall Timbers Research Station in Tallahassee, Florida. She teaches courses in Tree & Forest Measurement, Environmental Conservation, and Wildland Fire Ecology, among other topics.
