Danielle Michelle Powers

Danielle Powers is the Assessment Coordinator for the Center for Academic Advising. As an academic advisor, she loves helping students as they adjust to UNCW and prepare to declare their majors. She also enjoys working with data as she leads assessment efforts in her unit to measure advising practices, student learning outcomes, and program outcomes.

Danielle began her career at UNCW in 2020 as a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Academic Advising while completing her M.Ed. through Watson College of Education. Outside of her role as an academic advisor and assessment coordinator, she embraces opportunities to teach UNI courses, participate in the Friendship Family program with international students, and travel abroad with students.
