Sonya Peele serves as the Strategic Initiatives Specialist for the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship where she fosters high impact startups and scalable businesses and supports the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Southeastern North Carolina. She is the Chief Executive Consultant of Work It Girl Coaching and Consulting, where she helps businesses successfully engage their customers and close the sale, because business doesn’t move forward without it. She is a sales strategy and training for impact specialist. While marketing tells them about your brand, closing gets it in their hands. For more than 20 years she has been developing leaders and helping propel professionals into their destiny. As a multi-national award-winning sales and marketing executive Sonya has more than 30 years' experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, biomedical and business industries with some of the nation's top fortune 100 companies including Merck and Co, Lundbeck and Qwest Communications. She has experienced great success as a sales trainer, facilitator, director, manager and entrepreneur helping others find success personally and in business. She is passionate about lifting leaders, seeing them flourish and helping them achieve success while experiencing joy in the process.
