Amelia K. Moody

Department Chair

Dr. Amelia Moody currently serves as Chair for the Department of Instructional Technology, Foundations, and Secondary Education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is also a professor of early childhood and special education with a focus on technology. Dr. Moody serves on the STEM Southeastern North Carolina Steering Committee and organizes annual North Carolina Science Festivals geared toward offering inclusive and equitable STEM opportunities to children with disabilities and their peers. She is active in curriculum development, grant writing, and community engagement efforts.
