Abbey N McCann

Lecturer

Abbey N. McCann is a Lecturer of Communication Studies. She teaches courses in integrated marketing communication. Her research interests centers on the intersections of integrated marketing communication, communication ethics, and popular culture. She has published in the Iowa Journal of Communication and the Journal of the Association for Communication Administration. Abbey earned her BA in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Business Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She earned her MA in the Rhetoric and Philosophy of Communication from Duquesne University and is completing her dissertation for her PhD in Rhetoric, also from Duquesne University. She has professional experience in event planning, marketing content creation, consulting, and public relations.
