Karin assists the Office of Innovation & Commercialization to guide UNCW researchers – faculty, staff, and students – through the commercialization process by identifying commercial potential, pursuing patents and licensing, and building business partnerships. Her role is to assist with the core functions of the OIC involving sales of new products or research by products and provides services that deliver discoveries to market.
