Chad S. Lane

Department Chair

Dr. Chad Lane is a paleolimnologist interested in lake sediment records of paleoclimate and paleoecology. Dr. Lane primarily utilizes microfossils, biomarkers, and stable isotope data to detect changes in vegetation, hydrology, fire, and human land use over thousands of years. His work has primarily focused in the circum-Caribbean and southeastern United States.
