Mary Kathryn Kruszewski

Mary Kathryn Kruszewski is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with 10 years of experience in pediatrics and critical care. Her expertise spans primary care, PICU, CICU, NICU, and TICU as well as both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has served as a guest lecturer, a graduate assistant, a mentor and a preceptor to experienced nurses, new graduates and students.
Her previous research experience includes work in pressure ulcer and CLABSI prevention as well as parent education. She has also presented research on the effects of laughter therapy in pediatric oncology populations. Her professional interests include pediatrics, nursing and patient education, nursing burnout, respite and palliative care, and the integration of medical AI in clinical practice.
