Denise B. Isibel

Clinical Assistant Professor

Denise Isibel is a doctoral prepared RN with over 30 years of experience teaching in Higher Education. She received her BSN in 1981 from Villanova University and began her career in as a public health nurse in rural South Carolina. In 1986, Dr. Isibel earned her MSN in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas San Antonio Health Science Center. In 2015, Dr. Isibel successfully completed her DNP in nursing leadership/systems organization at Vanderbilt University. She is an experienced administrator in outpatient settings and higher education. Her scholarly agenda focuses on health literate organizations and health literacy in the public health sector and nursing students.
