Mark T. Imperial

Professor

Mark T. Imperial is a Professor and director of the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program in the Department of Public and International Affairs at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He teaches courses in public management, public policy analysis, coastal planning and management, and environmental policy analysis. His research interests focus on collaboration, institutional analysis, and various topics related to watershed and environmental management. His research has been published in Administration & Society, American Review of Public Administration, Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment, International Journal of Organizational Theory and Behavior, Environmental Management, Coastal Management, Natural Resource Journal, Society and Natural Resources, Public Works Management & Policy, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, and Journal of Public Affairs Education. His research has also been published by the National Academy of Public Administration and the IBM center for the Business of Government. He currently serves on the editorial board of Environmental Management.
